Welcome
Here at Square Dog Ranch, your dog will find special treatment and great accommodations. A country setting conveniently located near Route 1 and Route 301 in Townsend, DE. Square Dog Ranch is located on 8 plus acres. Our dog kennel has large indoor/outdoor runs for each dog.
If your canine family member is staying with us, you can be assured that they will get 3 walks each day, time in our large fenced play area, treats as well as their regular meals, and lots of cuddle time. If you have multiple dogs, they will have the chance to play with each other in the fenced play area. Square Dog Ranch is the place where your dog’s needs are met.

Animals are my passion. I have worked with dogs for many years in both a veterinary setting and at area shelters. I have fostered litters and personally rescued several dogs. My own dogs are very dear to my heart and I strive to take care of all their needs, physically and emotionally. Square Dog Ranch is the place where your dog’s total needs will be met.

Warning, since we are in such a rural area, Mapquest has given incorrect directions. GPS may work, although we strongly recommend bringing our directions just in case.
Take Route 896 south to Route 301 south. Follow Route 301 south through Middletown. After you see Walmart on your right look to make a left-hand turn onto Levels Road. When you come to a circle/loop you must make the first right to stay on Levels Rd. Follow for a couple miles and make a left-hand turn onto Maryland Line Road. Follow Maryland Line Road a little over a mile and make a left at Square Dog Ranch. (You will only see our driveway from the road.)
Take interstate 95 south to Route 1 south. Follow Route 1 south to canal bridge. Take first exit over the bridge before toll. Follow to Route 13 south. Take Route 13 south through Odessa crossing Route 299. Pass the big shark on right and look to turn onto Pine Tree Road (there’s a small park and ride there). Make right at Pine Tree Road. Follow through Townsend and the road will eventually change names to Caldwell Corner Road. Follow a few miles into the country. When you see Dogtown Road, start looking for Vandyke Greenspring Road. Make a right onto Vandyke Greenspring Road. It will automatically split, make that immediate right onto Maryland Line Road. (If you’re in Maryland you’ve gone too far.) Follow Maryland Line Road and make a right down our driveway. You will only see our driveway from the road.
Take Route 13 north. Make a left onto Route 71. Follow into the town of Townsend. Make left at light onto Main Street. Follow, and the road will eventually change names to Caldwell Corner Road. Follow a few miles into the country. When you see Dogtown Road start looking for Vandyke Greenspring Road. Make a right onto Vandyke Greenspring Road. It will automatically split, make that immediate right onto Maryland Line Road and make a right down our driveway. You will only see our driveway from the road.
